FAQ
- Is PBJ available in federal court?
No. There is no federal PBJ. On ACA cases (BW Parkway, Route 32), we often front-load alcohol education, treatment, MADD Victim Impact Panel, and community service before the first setting to pursue dismissal. - Do MVA hearings matter if I have a criminal case?
Yes. Criminal and administrative tracks move in parallel. Missing a 10-day/30-day MVA deadline can cost you — we handle both tracks together. - What if the rights advisement wasn’t in my language?
Language access is critical. If advisements aren’t understood, sanctions can include excluding evidence or winning at OAH. We’ve won on this issue. - Can a DUI be expunged?
State: Maryland’s revised 2024 Noah’s Law –> certain DUIs may be eligible after 15 years without new offenses. Federal: expungement doesn’t align; practical expungement is generally unavailable.
